The Small Münsterländer is a highly athletic, brilliantly smart, and incredibly versatile pointing dog from Germany. They possess a stunning, feathered brown-and-white coat, immense stamina, and are equally adept at pointing, retrieving, and tracking game in dense cover and water.
The Small Münsterländer is exceptionally eager to please and highly trainable, lacking the extreme stubbornness of some other pointers. They are deeply affectionate and excellent family dogs, provided they receive massive amounts of vigorous daily exercise. Their beautiful, feathered coat requires regular brushing to prevent tangles and remove field debris.
