The Large Münsterländer is a striking, highly athletic, and incredibly versatile pointing dog from Germany. Possessing a stunning black-and-white feathered coat, they are fierce, tireless hunters bred to point, track, and retrieve large and small game over vast distances.
The Large Münsterländer is exceptionally intelligent, highly eager to please, and deeply affectionate with its family. They are excellent, calm companions indoors but possess boundless stamina outdoors. They absolutely require vigorous daily running and advanced mental stimulation. Their beautiful coat is surprisingly weather-resistant but requires regular brushing to prevent tangles.
