The Français Tricolore is a large, highly elegant, and incredibly powerful pack hound from France. They possess immense stamina, a beautiful, deep voice, and were bred to hunt large game in massive packs over vast, rugged terrain.
The French Tricolour Hound is deeply pack-oriented and absolutely hates being alone; they thrive when they have other canine companions. They are gentle and affectionate indoors but turn into relentless trackers outdoors. They require massive amounts of running in secure areas. Their short coat is incredibly easy to groom, needing only a quick weekly brush.
