The Hygenhund is a robust, highly resilient, and fiercely driven scenthound from Norway. Bred to track hare and fox through brutal, snowy conditions, they are fiercely courageous, highly determined, and possess a remarkable, deep baying voice.
This breed is an intense, fiercely independent hunter. Indoors, they are calm, deeply affectionate, and highly loyal to their families. However, outdoors, their nose dictates their actions completely. They cannot be trusted off-leash and require an incredibly active owner who can provide massive amounts of daily running.
