The Bearded Collie is a highly energetic, exceptionally agile, and brilliantly smart herding dog from Scotland. Covered in a profuse, shaggy coat that falls over their eyes, they were bred to herd sheep across the rugged Highlands, possessing absolutely massive energy reserves.
The "Beardie" is famously joyful, highly playful, and deeply devoted to its family. They possess boundless stamina and absolutely require vigorous daily exercise; without it, they become highly destructive and excessively vocal. Their massive, shaggy coat requires intense, daily brushing to prevent severe matting.
