The Rastreador Brasileiro is a massive, fiercely driven scenthound bred specifically to track jaguars in the brutal jungles of Brazil. They possess unparalleled courage, exceptional stamina, and a striking, short coat, designed to push through the thickest, most punishing brush.
This breed is an intense, fiercely independent hunter. Indoors, they are calm, deeply affectionate, and highly loyal to their families. However, outdoors, their nose dictates their actions completely. They cannot be trusted off-leash and require an incredibly active owner who can provide massive amounts of daily running.
