The Srpski Trobojni Gonič (Serbian Tricolour Hound) is a robust, highly resilient, and fiercely driven scenthound from the Balkans. They possess a striking tricolor coat, immense stamina, and a beautiful, deep baying voice, bred to hunt hare and fox in brutal terrain.
This breed is a highly serious, intensely driven working dog. They are deeply loyal to their handler but are independent thinkers who do not respond to repetitive obedience drills. They require an incredibly active owner who can provide massive amounts of daily running. Their short, dense coat is highly weather-resistant and incredibly easy to care for.
