The Korean Jindo is a highly primitive, intensely agile, and incredibly clean spitz breed. Bred to hunt deer and boar on Jindo Island, they possess a stunning double coat, exceptional jumping ability, and an intensely loyal, one-person devotion famously celebrated in Korea.
The Jindo forms an incredibly intense, clingy bond with their owner, but they are naturally highly suspicious of strangers and possess a massive prey drive. They are brilliant escape artists, capable of climbing tall fences. They require massive early socialization, firm leadership, and vigorous daily exercise. Their coat requires regular brushing.
