Training Your Griffon Belge

The Griffon Belge is identical to the Brussels Griffon but with a different coat color (usually black or black and tan). They share the same sensitive, smart nature.

Key Training Tips:

• Separation Anxiety: They are quintessential "velcro dogs." You must train them early to tolerate being alone for short periods to prevent severe anxiety.
• Small Dog Syndrome: Do not let them dominate the house just because they are cute. Enforce strict rules and require them to earn treats through obedience.

They respond wonderfully to clicker training and enthusiastic, positive reinforcement.
