The German Spitz is highly intelligent, intensely alert, and incredibly devoted to its family. They are vocal watchdogs with a strong stubborn streak.

Key Training Tips:

• Barking Control: They are exceptional watchdogs and will bark at every passing shadow. Teach the "quiet" command early and consistently.
• Firm Consistency: They are bossy and will test your boundaries constantly. Establish strict rules and never deviate from them.
