The Hellinikos Ichnilatis (Greek Harehound) is a highly athletic, intensely driven scenthound from Greece. They are highly intelligent but notoriously stubborn.

Key Training Tips:

• Scent Distraction: As a dedicated tracking hound, their nose rules their brain. Recall is often unreliable; always walk them on a leash or in a securely fenced area.
• Vigorous Exercise: They require massive amounts of running in dense cover to burn off their hunting energy.

They are deeply devoted family dogs that respond terribly to harshness; use only positive reinforcement.
