The Japanese Spitz is a highly intelligent, incredibly friendly, and famously beautiful companion dog. They are deeply loyal and intensely eager to please.

Key Training Tips:

• Barking Control: They are exceptional watchdogs and will bark at every passing shadow. Teach the "quiet" command early and consistently.
• Advanced Trick Training: Basic obedience is too easy. They absolutely dominate in agility and complex trick training. Keep their active minds engaged.

They respond wonderfully to clicker training and love being the center of attention.
