Training Your Beagle-Harrier

The Beagle-Harrier is a highly athletic, intensely driven scenthound from France. They combine the speed of the Harrier with the exceptional nose of the Beagle.

Key Training Tips:

• Scent Distraction: As a dedicated tracking hound, their nose rules their brain. Recall is often unreliable; always walk them on a leash or in a securely fenced area.
• Vigorous Exercise: They require massive amounts of running in dense cover. A tired hound is a calm, trainable hound inside the house.
