Training Your Dogo Argentino

The Dogo Argentino is a massive, heavily muscled, and intensely powerful hunting mastiff. They are extremely courageous and highly dominant.

Key Training Tips:

• Expert Handling Only: They are fiercely protective and highly dominant. You must be an incredibly calm, supremely confident, and experienced leader.
• Massive Socialization: Due to their extreme hunting and guarding heritage, they must be heavily socialized from birth to prevent unmanageable aggression toward other dogs.

They are deeply devoted to their families but are highly dangerous in the hands of an inexperienced owner.
