The Keeshond is a striking, highly intelligent, and incredibly affectionate spitz breed. They are famously eager to please and highly trainable.

Key Training Tips:

• Bark Control: They are excellent watchdogs and will bark to alert you of anything unusual. Teach them to stop barking once you acknowledge the alert.
• Separation Anxiety: They are deeply attached to their families and hate being alone. Train them to tolerate short absences early on to prevent distress.
• Positive Motivation: They are sensitive and respond beautifully to praise and treats. Harsh corrections are completely unnecessary and counterproductive.
