Training Your Broholmer

The Broholmer is a massive, heavily muscled, and intensely powerful Danish mastiff. They are famously calm, deeply affectionate, and fiercely protective.

Key Training Tips:

• Early Leash Manners: They will easily surpass 150 lbs. You absolutely must teach them flawless loose-leash walking while they are young and manageable.
• Firm Leadership: They do not take orders easily and view themselves as the alpha. You must be an incredibly calm, confident, and experienced leader.

They are deeply devoted family dogs that require patience, positive reinforcement, and massive socialization.
