The Shikoku is an incredibly tough, highly aggressive hunting spitz from Japan. They are intensely independent, fiercely courageous, and extremely primitive.

Key Training Tips:

• Expert Handling Only: They possess immense dog aggression and a massive prey drive. They require a highly experienced, firm handler.
• Strict Boundaries: They do not respect weak leadership. You must be a calm, supremely confident leader, using firm consistency rather than harsh discipline.
