The Anglo-Français de Petite Vénerie is a highly athletic, intensely driven scenthound from France. They are highly intelligent but notoriously stubborn.

Key Training Tips:

• Scent Distraction: When their nose hits the ground, their ears turn off completely. They must be kept in securely fenced areas or on a leash at all times outdoors.
• Vigorous Exercise: They require massive amounts of running in dense cover to burn off their hunting energy.

They are highly affectionate, calm indoor companions when properly exercised.
