The Blue Gascony Basset possesses the incredible nose of its larger cousins but on short legs. They are highly active and very vocal.

Key Training Tips:

• Leash Training: They will abruptly stop and pull hard when they find an interesting scent. Teach loose-leash walking early to avoid being dragged into the bushes.
• Socialization: They are naturally pack dogs and generally love other dogs, but early socialization ensures they do not become overly timid around strangers.
