• Basic Manners: Because of their massive size and tendency to drool, teaching them not to jump and to tolerate grooming/face wiping is essential.
• Water Work: They absolutely love water. Incorporating swimming and retrieving into their training is the best way to keep them physically and mentally fulfilled.
• Gentle Consistency: They are highly intelligent and very eager to please. Harsh training will break their spirit; use generous praise and treats.
