Training Your Kuvasz

The Kuvasz is a massive, beautiful white flock guardian. They are highly intelligent, incredibly brave, and fiercely independent thinkers.

Key Training Tips:

• Respect their Independence: Like the Komondor, they were bred to work alone. They do not enjoy repetitive drills and will often ignore commands they deem unnecessary.
• Firm Boundaries: You must establish yourself as a calm, unwavering leader. If you use harsh physical corrections, they will become aggressive.
• Extensive Socialization: They are naturally suspicious of strangers. Introduce them to varied environments early to build a well-rounded temperament.

They are deeply devoted protectors of their family but require an owner who understands the mindset of a serious guardian breed.
