The Puli is a highly energetic, incredibly agile Hungarian herding dog. They are instantly recognizable by their unique, dense, corded coat (similar to the Komondor, but the Puli is much smaller). Bred to herd sheep with intense speed and acrobatic jumping, they are brilliantly smart and vocal.
The Puli is a fiercely loyal, intensely alert watchdog. They possess boundless stamina and absolutely dominate in agility and herding trials. They require vigorous daily exercise and firm training to manage their barking and nipping instincts. Their corded coat requires specialized, highly tedious maintenance to separate the cords and prevent severe matting.
