Group :Terriers Section : Bull type Terriers
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is an incredibly muscular, highly athletic, and profoundly affectionate companion dog. Originally bred for blood sports in 19th-century England, they have been transformed into one of the most famously sweet-tempered family dogs, earning the nickname "the Nanny Dog."
Staffies are intensely devoted, highly playful, and exceptionally patient with children. However, due to their history, they possess immense strength and can be aggressive toward other dogs if not massively socialized from birth. They require vigorous daily exercise and firm, consistent leadership. Their short, sleek coat is incredibly easy to care for.
