The Jagdterrier is an incredibly intense, fiercely courageous, and highly versatile working terrier from Germany. Bred specifically for brutal underground hunting and flushing game above ground, they are famously fearless, highly athletic, and possess absolutely massive energy reserves.
The Jagdterrier is a highly serious working dog, not a typical house pet. They are deeply loyal to their handler but possess an overwhelming, relentless prey drive and immense dog aggression. They demand an incredibly active, experienced hunting owner who can provide massive amounts of daily work. Their harsh, wiry coat is incredibly low-maintenance.
