The Dansk-Svensk Gårdshund is a highly energetic, exceptionally agile, and brilliantly smart working dog. Visually resembling a Jack Russell Terrier, they are actually a pinscher breed, possessing a sleek, tri-colored coat and an intensely alert, joyful demeanor.
The Farmdog is deeply affectionate, highly social, and less scrappy than typical terriers. They are excellent family dogs and thrive in active households. However, they possess a strong prey drive and absolutely require a secure yard and daily exercise. Their short coat sheds moderately but requires virtually no grooming.
