The Parson Russell Terrier is a slightly taller, more intensely driven version of the Jack Russell. They are fiercely courageous, highly energetic, and famously stubborn.

Key Training Tips:

• Prey Drive Management: Bred to hunt foxes, their prey drive is overwhelming. Flawless recall is difficult; keep them leashed outdoors.
• Channel the Energy: They possess boundless stamina. They absolutely must have a job to do, such as Earthdog trials or agility, to remain sane.

They are highly affectionate with their families but demand an incredibly active, experienced terrier owner.
