• Firm Leadership: They are strong-willed and will test boundaries. You must establish yourself as a calm, consistent leader from day one.
• Dog Aggression: Kerry Blues can be combative with other dogs. Intensive, early socialization and structured puppy classes are absolutely mandatory.
• Mental Challenges: Basic obedience is not enough. They excel in advanced obedience, herding, and agility training.
