Known as the "King of Terriers," the Airedale is the largest terrier breed. They are versatile, courageous, and highly intelligent, requiring dynamic training.

Key Training Tips:

• Avoid Repetition: Airedales are incredibly smart and will quickly become bored (and stubborn) if asked to repeat the same drill endlessly. Keep things fast-paced.
• High Prey Drive: They were bred to hunt. A solid recall command is vital, as they will readily chase smaller animals.
• Digging and Chewing: Give them appropriate outlets for their terrier instincts, such as tough chew toys and a designated digging area.

They are excellent working dogs that excel in defense training, agility, and obedience when motivated correctly.
