With their lamb-like appearance, the Bedlington Terrier looks delicate, but they are actually tough, fast, and energetic hunters that need structured training.

Key Training Tips:

• Manage the Prey Drive: They are incredibly fast and will chase squirrels or cats without hesitation. Never trust them off-leash in an unenclosed area.
• Gentle but Firm: They are somewhat sensitive terriers. Use positive reinforcement, but do not let them manipulate you with their sweet looks.
• Agility and Earthdog: They excel in dog sports. Enrolling them in agility or Earthdog trials provides excellent physical and mental exercise.
