The Perdiguero de Burgos is a massive, heavily built, and fiercely driven pointing dog from Spain. Known for their robust frame and deeply wrinkled face, they are highly resilient hunters capable of working in the most brutal, unforgiving terrain.
Despite their imposing size, the Burgos Pointer is exceptionally gentle, deeply loyal, and highly affectionate with their family. They are very eager to please and highly trainable. They require an incredibly active owner who can provide massive amounts of daily running and mental stimulation. Their short coat is highly weather-resistant and very easy to care for.
