The Italian Greyhound (Piccolo Levriero Italiano) is a highly elegant, incredibly fast, and deeply affectionate toy sight-hound. Often described as a miniature Greyhound, they possess a stunningly sleek, incredibly short coat and an aristocratic, deeply dignified bearing.
The Italian Greyhound is the ultimate couch potato indoors. They are deeply affectionate, exceptionally clean, and perfectly suited for apartment living. However, outdoors, they possess an overwhelming prey drive and will sprint after anything that moves. Their extremely short coat requires almost no grooming, but they are highly sensitive to cold and incredibly fragile, prone to broken legs.
