The Bracco Italiano is a massive, heavily built, and incredibly powerful pointing dog. Known for their robust frame, striking roan coat, and deeply soulful, droopy expression, they are highly resilient hunters capable of working in the most brutal, unforgiving terrain.
Despite their imposing size, the Bracco Italiano is exceptionally gentle, deeply loyal, and highly affectionate with their family. They are very eager to please and highly trainable. They require an incredibly active owner who can provide massive amounts of daily running. Their short coat is highly weather-resistant and very easy to care for, but they drool heavily.
