• Secure Fencing: They can easily clear a 6-foot fence from a standstill. Training them to respect boundaries is vital, but secure, tall fencing is mandatory.
• Prey Drive: They hunt by sight and sound. They will chase small animals relentlessly and should never be trusted off-leash in open areas.
• Positive Reinforcement: They are sensitive and independent. Harsh training will cause them to shut down. Use gentle praise and highly valuable rewards.
