The Bloodhound is a massive, incredibly powerful, and highly renowned scenthound. Famous for their deeply wrinkled faces, incredibly long, pendulous ears, and unparalleled sense of smell, they were bred to track human scent over massive distances and punishing terrain.
The Bloodhound is exceptionally gentle, highly affectionate, and famously stubborn. They are deeply devoted family dogs but are ruled entirely by their nose. Once they catch a scent, they cannot be called off, making highly secure fencing and leash-walking mandatory. They require massive daily exercise, drool profusely, and their heavy ears require meticulous cleaning to prevent severe infections.
